Constant heart palpitations

Has anybody experienced this pretty much all day? I've had heart palpitations since I was 16 (just very occasionally like a normal person). I am 27 now and just the past couple of months they have been constant, literally I must have at least 30-50 an hour. I finally have a doctors appointment on Wednesday. Heart problems run in my family so I'm a bit nervous. Has this happened to anyone else? I dont have any other symptoms with it. I am often dizzy/lightheaded but ive been like that my whole life, lol. Thank you!
