BMI extra testing
So because my BMI is 40, this new obstetrics practice (I had to switch due to insurance sadly) wants me to do non stress tests 2x's a week and weekly growth scans starting at 32 weeks. I had to have an extremely involved Anatomy scan by a specialist for the same reason. I am trying to be positive about it because its more monitoring for the baby so why not? But at the same time it seems over the top. I have had 2 healthy babies prior at another office and hospital without all this extra stuff. No Gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, early labor, or any issues. (I did have 2 early miscarriages last year but they dont really think that was weight related and was a matter of 'luck')
Just wondering is anyone else going thru all the extra testing?
Also, I'm 24 weeks today, everything is good and my little girl is very active in there :)
