Anyone experienced this please help!

My period was due on August 24th it came 12 days later in between that time I took a few pregnancy tests that came up with a faint line. Because I had an ectopic pregnancy before in my TTC journey I decided to call the primary dr. As I was traveling to the doctors visit my cycle started so I still decided to go in just to be sure and double check. When I was at the visit the doctor stated that it could just be my cycle changing and that everything was fine. I left and later on that evening I felt cramps as if I was giving birth the pain was super excruciating I couldn’t walk. I was sweating having cold flashes there was no position that I could sit or stand in that didn’t make me have more pain it was devastating. Being as though I just left the doctors I just took pain medication laid down and woke up and I felt a little better to days later my menstrual stopped and for the past 2 1/2 weeks I’ve been spotting when I wipe. Has anyone ever experienced this I have an appointment with my OB on Thursday but I’m just curious.
