Do you bring your baby when you have to poop?

When I’m home alone with the baby and I have to poop I never know whether to bring my 3 week old with me into the bathroom or leave him in his bassinet. I don’t want to make him smell my poops so I’ve been leaving him in his bassinet and keeping the bathroom door open so I can hear him in the next room but is that safe? #FTMproblems

Ngl... I did this morning because I had to go urgently and it took him nearly a half hour to latch so I didn’t want to break it just to poo 😬 otherwise I put him in the bassinet or mamaroo.

Sometimes. If I put her down and she starts crying I do. I can’t relax and poop if she’s screaming so I’ll just hold her or nurse her while I poop

I just put the bouncer right outside the door in the hallway unless she’s sleeping then I leave her be in the room since our bathroom is connected lol but I have breastfed once cuz I had to go pee so bad & didn’t want her to stop eating since it was first thing in the morning

I just don't think it's sanitary in my opinion. Even with a sparkling clean bathroom, I wouldn't want my LO exposed to the chemicals. Not to mention, I'm a clutz and don't trust myself with her in the bathroom. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I just poop fast after setting her down in the basinet.

Ive brought them in with me a few times because sometimes I'm constipated and it takes awhile. 🤷
