Baby head down painful?

I'm 38w2d and for the past 3 days I've had pain in the lower lower stomach/groin. Mostly on the right side. Baby has been head down for weeks now but maybe now his head is more down in the birth canal? It kinda even hurts to walk. 
Anyone else feeling the same? I haven't had any contractions at all or blood or anything. I'm a FTM

Try some pelvic tilts. It can help with all sorts of lower discomfort

Yeah me too... Baby's head seems be be resting on a nerve close to the right side of my pubic bone and it's pretty sore. Like you said, it hurts to walk. But only a little longer now... And it's a good sign that her head is so low :)

I feel like my belly button is going to rip in 2 places. I can't walk and back pain and pressure. I am 38 weeks. But my contraction are not 5min. They stop and go within an hr or 2. I have a doctor appt on Wed.

Yep I get the same pain at least once a day now. I'm 38+6 weeks and baby is ready to go  position wise but no other symptoms ie contractions or bleeding. Just back pain and period like pain.

OMG had this last night and today. Like a muscle pull or ligament pain. Don't think baby's heads engaged yet but I guess we will see over the next couple days

Sounds like round ligament pain--I'm 39+1 and had the same thing when my baby started to drop. Stretching out your hip flexor and gently massaging the area with a tennis ball can help!
