Can you get a HSG done after period ?

No to scare anyone about to get their hsg done.... I am someone who has high pain tolerance but i swear i haven't felt anything as painful as this.... I had mine yesterday (19-01-2020) i am still feeling the pain i can barely stand for long, can't pee without feeling pain, can't turn properly but thank God my tubes are not blocked so i can say the pain is worth it hoping to get pregnant soon

My doc called and said we have to wait for a period to come before we can do it, has to be around mid cycle 6-10 days in or later!

It’s actually 7-10 days from the start of your period, you also should have protected intercourse because if you’re pregnant you won’t get to keep it after that procedure.

Hello. I just got mine done. I took 660MG naproxen before 45 minutes of the scheudled appointment time. I talk to my doctor i told about i ama little stressed, he assures me , he will do it gentle when he pump the ball . So it went well. It did not hurt i felt a little discomfort nothing else. I am happy and home. Do not be affraid from an HSG test.

Mine was day 11 of my period. It has to be after period to make sure your not pregnant !
