Bi or lesbian?

I came out as bi to a few people but ever since then I completely stopped liking guys? Is it possible to be straight at one point in your life and then be lesbian?

I think sexuality can fluctuate, but I've also noticed a phenomenon where some bisexual people I know come out as bi & finally can openly express their same sex interest, and they get occupied with the same sex for awhile. 
My best friend is a pansexual male, and after he came out, for A LONG TIME all he ever talked about was men! Now it's more of a mix, still more men, but a lot of ladies too now.
Bi or lesbian? Honestly, does it really matter? Just be with whoever you love ^.^
