I would say it’s when you and ur SO feel comfortable announcing.... we are waiting until I am 24 weeks because we have lost two lil Boys at 17 and 20 weeks gestation we have 3 beautiful lil girls but we want to make sure we give ourselves plenty of time to be in the clear now all my other pregnancies and this is my 7th we have announced straight away after the first doc appt... soooo it’s totally up to you and what u feel comfortable we r just wanting to shield our children until we know we r mostly safe...

I told super close friends and sister almost as soon as I found out (4-5 weeks but I thought at the time I was 6-7w). Then told our parents a week or so later simply because I’m terrible at keeping secrets and lying haha. 
I just got my 2nd ultrasound done at 9w2d and I’m DYING to tell the world but I’m going to wait til after our 12w scan to announce on social media. I don’t know, just in case :/

We’re planning to announce at 13.5 to extended family as long as our 11 week appointment goes well on Tuesday ❤️ we’ll probably wait awhile to post to social media, but to each their own. It’s such an exciting time. Do what feels right to you!

I wanted to announce around 12wks after my 11w2d appointment on the 4th. We already had one at 7wks with healthy heartbeat just want to make sure this next appointment goes well then we will post on social media at 12wks
