Yes I’ve checked the manufacturers date and expirations, & yes they were lightly loved by a previous family. All I’ve done is clean them. I won’t be installing until the day I’m in labor or being induced.

I’m huge on Britax and it’s safety standards but alot of single moms, I’m broke af. I’m also a college student and aspiring biomedical engineer. All of my “major purchases” this pregnancy has been second hand stores and apps like letgo and OfferUp. If you are against these choices I completely understand, with my first child I bought everything brand new and I had everything. Most of it, I ended up not even using. Honestly, baby really just needs new diapers and boobie time 🤣. So far I’ve gotten:

Graco pack and play for $60 with the changing table and infant napper (it flips) - literally looks brand new

Graco swing/vibrator for $30 (fb marketplace)

My entire pregnancy wardrobe has been from a second hand store.

And now I’ve got these A-class car seats for my little girl 🎀. Today is my realization that I’ve got baby girl on a budget. But a classy one 🤗😉

What’s your guess on the amount I’ve paid?! Also please comment any great deals you’ve managed to snag! I didn’t think I wanted to start nesting until December but apparently, I just couldn’t help myself.
