Pregnant with PCOS!

Bridget

I’m 25 and have known I have PCOS since I was 18. Having PCOS has always messed with me mentally, convincing myself that I would be unable to have children or when I did decide to have children it would take me years. Me and my partner of 2 & 1/2 years decided we wanted to start trying to conceive. So after a couple months of trying, I saw my gynecologist 3 weeks ago. What I didn’t know at the time was that I am already pregnant! We found out last week and now I’m about 7 weeks along! I am so incredibly happy and honestly feel so blessed that it happened naturally. However, having PCOS I am aware that there is a higher chance for miscarriage or complications. Are there any precautions I should be taking? I want to do everything in my power to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible.
