Now a Sept baby...

Rachel

Hey everyone! Our baby girl made her way into this world at 352 Saturday morning. It was a wild ride!

I had my 38 week checkup on Thursday and all was good, I had dilated even further to 4.5 and was almost completely effaced. My dr said she wanted to just check to make 100% sure she was in the correct position in case I went in to labor soon. And of course baby girl was breech.... went in the following morning and discussed options. Either option meant we were having a baby that day! We had 2 hours until we needed to be back so we went home gathered any last minute things and called our support people.

We got to the hospital at noon and prepped to attempt an inversion... so they gave me an epidural and we tried the inversion around 4. Let me tell you even with a heavy epidural it was still the most pain I have ever felt in my life. But it was 100% worth it because it was successful! Baby girl got turned around and we started pictocin.

Became time to push around 245am and after an hour of pushing our baby girl was here!

Miss Adalynn Rose has already stole our hearts.
