Potty training in a weekend!

So I had received an email from BabyCenter with a method of potty training your toddler in only 3 days. We just completed day 3 & I am so amazed with my little man!

My mother in law has been trying to rush our little guy by forcing him to sit on the toilet for 5 mins randomly & wanted to spank him if he had an accident. He was terrified of sitting on the toilet after that & cried if you tried it. Hubby & I wanted a more positive method so we gave this a try this weekend.

By tonight, our little man is going pee by himself in his little potty every time, then emptying it himself in the toilet, & jumping around cheering for himself. He even pooped by himself tonight (which has been our struggle!) without us prompting him. He wears a diaper at night & naps for now but I’m sure over the next few weeks we’ll ditch them then as well. I’m just so proud of him.
