Do the math

pregnancy takes 280 days, or 40 weeks.

So you’re not ‘one month pregnant’ until you’re 30 days pregnant, or 4w2d (4 weeks).

You’re not ‘two months pregnant’ until you are 60 days, or 8w4d (9 weeks).

3 months - 12w6d (13 weeks)

4 months - 17w1d (17 weeks)

5 months - 21w3d (21 weeks)

6 months - 25w5d (26 weeks)

7 months - 30 weeks

8 months - 34w2d (34 weeks)

9 months - 38w4d (39 weeks)

As for the trimesters. Let’s divide 280 days by three.

First trimester - 0w1d-13w2d (0 to 13 weeks)

Second trimester - 13w3d-26w4d (13 to 27 weeks)

Third trimester - 26w5d+ (27 weeks onward)

I’m saying this because I’m seeing a lot of women say they are X months pregnant when there’s a difference between being IN your Xth month and actually being X months pregnant.

Language matters and it’s confusing. I’m posting this to try to be helpful. Cheers
