In the hospital my daughter was a champ at feeding. I tried to breastfeed right before leaving the hospital yesterday and all she did was scream. She put the nipple in her mouth but refused to close her lips. This went on for two hours. Lactation came after a postpartum nurse tried helping me squeeze milk into a small spoon to feed baby. Lactation said it can just happen and to keep trying. Well now it’s 24 hours later and she nursed once or twice for 5 min each and is now refusing again. My milk came in and I’m terrified it will dry up because I can’t get her to drink. I’m frantically boiling the pump parts so I can pump. I called the pedi office, but they can’t see me until tomorrow.

Anyone else have this happen?? I breastfed my first with very few issues.
