So I got let go from my job last week, and there was a guy I would chat with almost everyday, on IG too. Just talk about work, kids, blah blah. Then he would suddenly start flirting with me and so I would ask him certain questions to see where his mind was at. Long story short, he was looking for a fuck buddy because he said he’s not looking for anyone to tie him down. I said ok, well that ain’t my style so good luck with that.

Then we stopped chatting over some miscommunication. Anyways, I messaged him thinking he would understand since we worked at the same place. He offers to give me a hug and buy me some coffee. I said sure if you want but it’s not necessary.

He says no no it’s fine, but I also want a kiss on the cheek. I was upset and kind of sad so I wasn’t thinking and said yeah sure.

So we meet for coffee, I explained exactly what happened then he had to go back to work. So he messages me and says, oh why did you sneak the cheek kiss, I was waiting for it so I could kiss you on the lips. I’m like oh ok well...

Then he begins to constantly ask if I’ll kiss him on the lips, literally every other question was that. I got fed up and said no. His whole attitude changes and he stops responding like he normally does and comes up with excuses all of a sudden, then he went from messaging me at 630 am to not at all.

Sry if that’s long but am I just thinking too much and and overreacting or does it seem like he was manipulating my bad situation to his advantage?
