Losing too much weight?
I'm breastfeeding and my baby is two weeks old. Is losing 13 lbs in the past 5 days healthy? I'm not doing anything differently than I did before or during pregnancy. I'm actually eating more carbs with as many pasta and casserole dishes our friends and family have brought over.
Initially, I lost 10 lbs when she was born (8 lb baby), but I retained A LOT of fluid from the epidural and Pitocin. I weighed myself a week later and the again 5 days ago when I was no longer swollen. This is what I used as my baseline.
I'm only 6 lbs away from my pre pregnancy weight and my LO is only two weeks old. I'm all about getting back into shape, but is it healthy to have dropped this much so fast?!?!
