Feeling discouraged

My husband and I have been trying for months now and haven’t got our positive yet. I get symptoms all the time but still nothing. Anyone else struggling on getting their positive after years on birth control? I know they say it takes time after you stop using it but the feeling is still so saddening when the negative pops up.
