Why doesn't my daughter like me?

It sounds silly but I swear unless it's for milk my daughter would rather be with anyone else.

I can't soothe her when she's crying, I can't rock her to sleep, I can't keep her entertained. Today my mum rocked her to sleep and then handed her to me, I cuddled her and rocked her as my mum was doing and she woke up screaming, then my husband took her and she soothed instantly.

It's breaking my heart. I just want to be able to comfort her and I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
