Whar are the delivery complications related with GD

I have GD,on medicine now for the same ,seems to be controlled,baby growth is as per lmp..want to know what are the extra precautions one needs to take when baby is born.Ive heard baby develops low sugar.Want to decide my medicsl practitioner according to thay.Can u pls help
