X-ray while TTC?

I ovulated cd 12 and got an X-ray a couple days later. Will getting the X-ray hurt my chances of conceiving?

Answer

I’m a radiographer. It’s depends what you had x-rayed? If it was just foot, hand it should be absolutely fine, it’s a very small dose of radiation. There can be a small risk if you had an abdominal X-ray and is not advisable having X-rays in your first trimester.
I’d try not to worry. If you aren’t pregnant already, it shouldn’t harm your fertility.
