2 year old/ should I take him to ER?

My son has started to throw up this past hour and within that time he has thrown up 4 times. He showed no signs of being sick and he just started throwing up out of no where...

No, monitor him, and as long as he’s acting normally, he doesn’t need to go to the hospital.  If it continues through the night, take him to his doctor tomorrow. If he stops urinating, or starts acting lethargic(not normally bedtime sleepiness), or starts running fevers that are not controlled with medication, then take him to the hospital.

This exact sickness has made its way around my house. It seems to stay for 24 hours and that's it. Just make sure he sips water every once in a while and doesn't get dehydrated. That's the biggest worry.

If he continues to throw up that much throughout the night and tomorrow morning and won’t take any fluids I would call the pediatrician but like someone else said this just went around our daycare and I had it too and I puked for like 12 hours but was fine after that. Keep pushing fluids maybe a popsicle or pedialyte/Gatorade will be easier than water. Dry heaving is way worse than puking up Gatorade and being that dehydrated is dangerous.

I'd continue to monitor at home. From my understanding this stomach bug has been going around. Just try to push fluids. If it continues through tomorrow I'd call his pediatrician. My friend's daughter just had this last week. She threw up maybe 3 or 4 times, complained get stomach hurt but by Sunday (it started Friday) she was fine.
