Am I insane?

Question

My daughter is now 3 months old. For the first month she was breastfed. I had to stop for medical reasons. I was given medication by my doctor to dry up. 
I've started lactating again and I'm seriously thinking about breastfeeding again. (I'm no longer on the medication so that isn't an issue) 
Has anyone stopped breastfeeding and went back months later?

A very good friend of mine adopted a baby and took medicine to help her lactate plus pumped every 2h religiously and with in 2w was able to breast feed her baby. She did it successfully for almost 8m!

I would make a quick call to your doctor first ask if you have the green light to breastfeed and give it a try! It’s all about supply and demand.

My sister did she was doing pretty well with it she was making enough to feed him excessively but it was to much work for her because she was pumping and then feeding she wouldn't have him latch on because she was scared it would hurt. I think she did it for almost 6 months
