Pre Gestational Diabetes

Hello ladies I hope you all are doing well these days. I have been diagnosed with pre gestational diabetes at 25 weeks I was immediately prescribed a glucometer test kit to check my levels and changed my diet now I’ve been out on insulin and my numbers are well where they need to be just after one day of insulin. I guess what I am asking is has anyone been diagnosed with GD and also told they were probably diabetic before pregnancy but once you had your baby it went away and your levels were normal? Any help greatly appreciated thank you
