When to Piercing babys ears ??

How old was you baby when you pierced her ears ? Did they cry a lot?

They have to have their two month shots. I took my daughter to a tattoo parlor. She didn’t even flinch.

3 months. Done at doctors. I waited outside like a baby but hubby said she barely cried. So glad we didn’t wait because she never messed with them. She got diamonds for her 1st bday

I’ve been told after 2 months is ok. But idk, I don’t have a girl lol I think that’s just what pediatrician recommends.. and also a place that does Not use guns. No Walmart or Claire’s... (I’ve just had the conversations with friends with girls)

I did both of my girls at 9 months old at Claire’s. They cried very little, maybe 30 seconds. Healed great, now I change their earrings everyday. They are 3 and 18 months now.

I honestly don’t like the idea of making that choice for my kid. Yes it’s super adorable the little babies with pierced ears and the big bows and big baby eyes. 
Just to me it’s not okay; it’s not my body to go and puncture a holes in for beauty purposes. 
An I know a lot of girls (preteens and teenagers) these days like to go do that stuff together with their friends as almost a right of passage - (growing up )
My sister has her ears pierced and she resents my mom for getting her ears pierced for her. It was a experience that was taken away from her because she was to young to remember it. An it also made her feel self conscious: her ears are really small and earring look huge on her even the tiny little stud looking ones.

Six months as a celebration for not having to do anymore vaccinations until she was one. She cried for a couple seconds and was over it.

She was 8 months she was upset when they first did it but was fine about 30seconds later. It was the equivalent of when she gets her vaccines, she cries for a second then as soon as i can pick her up it’s like it never happened lol
