Elevated Urine Protein Levels

Had my 38 week doctors appointment on Monday with a new midwife that just joined my doctors office. They took my blood pressure and it was about 136/86 usually my blood pressure is in the 110/60s-120/70s so they were concerned and wanted to take it again at the end of the appointment. Been having headaches which is nothing unusual since I’ve always had them even before being pregnant. Also mild swelling in my feet/ankles/hands but I asked about it at my last appointment and they weren’t concerned about it.

When they took my blood pressure again it was still in the 130/80s so they wanted to do a NST to make sure baby was alright. His heart rate was elevated but he was moving around a bunch since he hates having the monitors on but eventually he chilled out and they sent me down to do a blood draw and urine test. My results were posted to my online account within a couple hours and they didn’t look unusual based on the “normal range” numbers included with them but I’m not a doctor.

Received an email today from the midwife that said my urine protein levels are elevated and they want me to do a 24hr urine collection tomorrow. Has anyone else had to do this and everything turn out okay? Super worried they’re going to say I have pre e and I’m going to end up being induced..
