recently going through a break up, I’m not asking for anything back that I gave him during the relationship, just want some clothes that i left at his house and my college certificate. lol and i have a few things in my apartment that are his such as his class ring. but should i give back the promise ring that he gave me? what should i even do with it? bc i don’t want to wear it when i know what it once meant for us.

Yes, it’s a conditional gift, similar to engagement ring.  If he doesn’t want it back, then pawn or keep it, but it should be offered back.
