Getting Induced On Due Date 😵

Okay, I am so very anxious!! The last thing I wanted was to get induced. 😣 Last week at my doctors appointment my doctor told me that if I made it to 41 weeks he would have to induce. Well I had another appointment yesterday. I am 2-3 cm dilated with a buldging sac, he also scraped my membrane. Well he proceeds to tell me that we will schedule an induction for next week and asked which day I wanted. Well for my mom and people who I need most to be there a weekend is best. My doctor tells me he will call the hospital and see if they have something for Saturday. Doctor leaves the room and I start break down crying to my husband... This is really happening... I'm really about to have a baby... Doctor comes back in and tells me Saturday was booked and that I have to be at the hospital at 4:30 Friday morning!! That's tomorrow morning!!! I can't believe how close I am to holding my sweet boy!! Needless to say I am a lot calmer than I was yesterday. I think just the fact of knowing the exact date gave me anxiety lol. Because if you fall into labor its like "BAM its go time! This baby is coming!" But getting induced at a certain time on a certain day gives you time to think about it. Anyway thanks for reading all of my ramblings haha!! I'll make sure to post pictures of my sweet baby once he is born.
