Puppy and 1 year old ?

So I have a 21 month old and she loves dogs what do y’all think about that ? Do you think it’s a good Idea for a puppy with her age and also because I’m a clean freak and I would hate for her to get sick cause of the puppy anybody that has has experience with a puppy and kids her age ! ?

I had 3 puppies when I had my first and they have grown up together! They were 9months when she was born! They are great and love both my kids and super protective over my belly now (due with number 3 soon). As long as you teach both dog and child boundaries it’ll be fine :)!! 
My soon to be 5 year old loves her puppies still lol they are best friends! We had to put one to sleep due to illness but the other two are 100+ lbs and are so gentle with her and her 2 year old sister :)

No baby is too young and you are a self described clean freak and there is no way in hell that you puppy will not have accidents every once in a while, vomiting, chewing up or tearing up things etc etc some people just aren’t meant to have animals and that’s ok

My dog and daughter have been best friends since she was born! I think dogs and babies are a great mix. My daughter calls my dog “Mama Penny”. Above is my daughter at a few weeks old and below is her at 2 1/2. They play fetch, with lasers and run all around. Only thing is a puppy is a lot of work and you need to be sure it will be a good breed to mix with a kid. I’m pretty sure if we let my dog she would sleep in my daughters bed.
