Implantation bleeding?

Very dark down spotting/discharge when wiping yesterday/today.  Somewhat irregular periods so hard to pinpoint but would be about a week late. Hubby and I bd 1-2x/week min. Last few weeks. Trying to be realistic, but hope keeps creepin in. (We have been trying for years)

Unfortunately, implantation bleeding cannot happen if your period is late and is usually not dark, and is actually very rare. Only about 15% of women have implantation bleeding.
However, spotting in early pregnancy is normal and much more common.
The best you can do is give it 2-4 more days then take a pregnancy test.
