My boyfriend and I planned a 3 day trip to LA. We paid for the hotel and everything. It was all planned and ready. He got a schedule change but it didn’t affect our trip at all. It made it easier since he’d be off the same 3 days we were suppose to be on our trip.

But then yesterday he sends me a screenshots of him texting his boss. My BF had asked for a new schedule, so he got one. The days he was off changed and he told me WE might not be able to go on the trip anymore due to the new schedule.

So I asked him why would he ask for a new schedule. He said he didn’t like the hours on his last, but his new schedule is the SAME as the old but he starts about 2 hours later.

I’m wondering if I’m overreacting for being so upset about this. It’s a trip that I’ve been wanting to go on since August.

I can’t go without him because our plan was driving out (I don’t have a car) there because we live a state away. The hotel room is in his name too, I’m not sure if I could check in without him.
