Nexplanon and antibiotics?

Question

I’ve grown up knowing antibiotics made birth control temporarily ineffective. I never read much into it other than that.
I’ve had multiple people tell me that antibiotics don’t mess with Nexplanon but my SO have decided to just assume that it does. Which has me curious, does it? I’ve read pamphlets and looked it up and there’s no information about it.

I had nexplanon for a year and had to take antibiotics a few times during that time period and never experienced any issues. Nexplanon is the most effective birth control right behind abstinence.. it’s almost unheard of people getting pregnant while they have it, and the ones that did end up pregnant typically experienced some issues with it.. like it being in the wrong spot or broken. (Also very unlikely)..
