Flat head baby?

So I bought ember her flat head pillow I'm hoping this works.. I dont really k ow what im doing lol..

My baby prefers one side to but I found a devious way of making him tilt his head his least preferred way. At night, when he is swaddled, I leave the arm on the least preferred side out, so if he wants to munch on his hand or self soothe, he has to turn his head to his least preferred side. It prevented him from getting a flat spot on his preferred side

I was thinking about getting one because my baby favors his left side so the left side of his head and flat and makes his head look lopsided from the back.
