Tubal with c section?

Not even sure if they will allow me to have my tubes tied because I'm only 27. But we dont want any more kids. I'm thinking about a scheduled c section vs vbac, and wanted to ask if they would tie my tubes during the surgery. Anyone know if there's a chance of this!?

I just had my tubes tied with my most recent c-section. It was my third one and I'm 28.

I think they will do it if your over 25 with more than one kid but you will have to talk to your doctor about it

My friend had it done last year.  She was about to turn 30 and it was her third child.  I don't know if there are guidelines they go by.  I don't see why they wouldn't, but I don't personally have any experience.

As lon as it's not a church base hospital they will. I'll be having my 5th c section at Mercy Hospital in OKC, it's a Catholic hospital. They won't do it, unless I have to have a hysterectomy. I have a chance of the placenta being attached, with all the scar tissue. Definitely ask your Dr at your next appointment. In Oklahoma we have a ton of church base hospitals, and I've delivered at St. John's Owasso, St. Anthonys and Mercy will be twice. Best advice I have, ask your Dr. Also, closer to the end your Dr will hand you a form to sign for him to do it.

I’m 24 and just had mine done. Talk to your dr they might be totally fine with it. But some insurances want a waiting period beforehand so be aware of that. Mine wanted the paper signed a minimum of 30 days prior.

I think it depends on your doctor. My doctor im pretty sure would if I wanted to have one. I’ve already had one kid and will have my second when I’m almost 23. 
I’m not ready to commit to that yet so I haven’t asked but my doctor has always seemed open to anything I’ve asked for

When I went in to have my first child at 22 they asked me if I wanted to. I declined it, but I was shocked they even offered it to me.

I asked my doctors office and they said my insurance requires a 30 day signed request. Im having a c section for growth restriction on 10/10. Im going to call and try to push it, why would my insurance want to pay more when they could do it all in one??

I believe if you're over 30 or 35 and have more than 1 child theyll allow it.     Shouldnt be a biggie    I've known a couple of women who've had that done
