GERD issues anyone ?

Any moms struggling with acid reflux with their LO my poor baby got a bad case of it what are you ladies doing to get your baby more comfortable? We tried different formulas we can’t seem to find the one that gets him comfortable

Our pediatrician prescribed our LO liquid Zantac. It’s day 3 of it and he is so much happier!! He no longer screams after eating.

We were on Zantac and it worked great until 2 weeks ago. Now seeing GI dr n he said we were feeding too much at night (6oz). So we went down to 4oz and first night is going well. Frequent smaller feeds helped too. BTW Zantac does take some time to work, it didn’t right away with my LO (took several days). LO also slept on my chest after feedings for 15 minutes minimum. Constant burping during meals and taking meal time slow helped too. You and baby will get through this. Best of luck and pray for baby to feel better.

We are not the norm here and under close watch. Due to milk Allergies and reflux we are on elemental formula which is thin and causes really bad flares. We put 1/4 teaspoon rice cereal per oz of formula. We are also on Zantac. Her tummy feels better having the right formula which helps her flares. I also dont lay her flat right after a feeding or jostle around, we usually use this time for book reading or cooing conversations.
