Bloody show... when’s labor!?

I’m 39+3. Been having contractions all day long (6 minutes apart) but they aren’t painful yet. Then I went to the bathroom just now and definitely had my bloody show! (I know the difference between mucous plug and bloody show) so I’m just wondering if anyone had their bloody show and labor followed shortly after??? Or if I’m getting my hopes up ha. My doctor said wait to come in to the hospital until contractions become painful and last a full minute- 5 minutes apart.

With both of my prior pregnancies,  I was already in labor and had been having regular contractions before I got my bloody show. Good luck! Fingers crossed it's your time! 🤞

Was your bloody show a lot? I'm trying to figure out if I had mine or if I am just spotting. My contractions aren't consistent and I have the regular pelvic period like cramps that have been happening most of the pregnancy

I had my bloody show at the hospital after trying to kick start my contractions back up by walking around. I had my son several hours later.

I had a bloody show with my first . It happened in the morning then around 3pm started getting contractions and the next day I had her at 11:15am :)!
