37 + 4 with my first , contractions???

Hello❤️ i am 37 weeks and 4 days with my first, ive had cramping the entire pregnancy, but about 4 days ago, i woke up to back pain that was almost unbearable, but wasn’t consistent, and also irregular. I went to my regular OB appointment, and when i told the doctor about the pain, she checked my cvx and told me i was 1 CM, and that the pain might have been me contracting , ive lost a couple pieces of my plug, and ive been doing everything to speed up labor, ALOT of sex, spicy foods , walking ALOT, the whole nine yards. How i lay, i cant get comfortable because that back pain is back, but worse than before, its a sort of radiating pain on the left side of my back closer to the bottom, i switched from laying on my left, to laying on my back, and i got a stabbimg type of feeling in my lower belly, babygirl has been WAY more active than she ever has been tonight, and any questions i ask my OB, they never give me a full answer.
