Reflux baby

My almost 4 month old daughter has reflux. She was taking zantac but it stopped working as well as it had last month due to her putting on weight and getting older. Now we are switching to Prevacid but it takes 2-3 days to start seeing results. She has been screaming all morning from pain. Her cry’s are horse from the acid in her throat and she’s inconsolable. We can’t thicken her milk because she’s bottle fed breastmilk. Does anyone have any ideas to make this better for the next couple days? My momma heart can’t handle it...
