Braxton Hicks or just baby laying funny/diffently?

37 weeks and 5 days.

Was sick and felt unwell on thursday. Doctor and midwife checked me and said that I am 1cm dilated and nearly fully effaced. They also said I was having contractions, I didn’t feel any pain though.

I am confused, my tummy looks tight occasionally and feels tight to touch. But I honestly can’t tell if they are braxton hicks contractions or if the baby is just layed abit differently.

Please someone enlighten me, I am driving myself insane!
