How long was your early labor phase?

I'm talking about the phase where you were either laboring at home or in the hospital but still relatively comfortable.. Contractions hurt but they weren't that regular.. Your water has broken.. The phase where you were pretty much just waiting for everything to ramp up. How long did that last??

An hour with my first and about ten minutes with my second. With my first they broke my water which sent me into full blown labor...my second I was already in full blown labor at an 8 when I broke it myself. 
First labor total of six hours.
Second labor just shy of three hours.
Every labor is completely different.

I don't reallt know where to start counting, but about 12 hours?

None but I was induced. The minute they started the meds my contractions began every 2 minutes and never let up until I delivered. I lasted 2-3 hours before I got the epidural at 5-6cm and then started dilating even more quickly. They broke my water around 8-9 cm. I went from 2 cm to fully dilated in 5 hours.

About 11 hours. It would have been longer if they hadn't started me on pitocin.  My body refused to have contractions on its own.

20 minutes. But I was induced so I heard usually that’s not the case 😂
