Private parts what to call them??

So my son is about to be 2 and he’s potty training right now and seems to be curious when he looks at his penis. What is a good name to call it?

I use their medical terms for private parts because that’s what they truly are and it helps kids to explain to adults what hurts or heaven forbid something happened to them somewhere. Some adults may not recognize your “nickname” for the parts and not put 2 and 2 together.

She’s referred to her genital region as her “peepee” which I always correct her to say vagina.

Ive been using this word that i learned from my mom (she’s Filipino) we used pututoy (small penis) and puchichi (for girl) its sounds kinda cute and both my boys like to call it. My almost 2 would point it and say putput 😊😂

My daughter is the same age, and I also have an almost three month old son. She was watching me change his diaper, staring at his penis with a bit of a confused look.  I pointed to it and said "peepee" and then she pointed and repeated "peepee?" "Yeah!" She ran away for a couple seconds and then ran back and pointed again "peepee!" all excited! I told my mother and she told me I should say penis because she'll start to ask where her peepee is... 🤷 Sorry long comment that doesn't really have a good answer, I'm wondering the same thing, but I think I'll start saying penis and vagina.
