Breastfeeding and PP period??

Hey all! My baby is 8 weeks old and I got my first postpartum period at 7 weeks! I’m exclusively breastfeeding and I thought I wouldn’t get it for a while! What gives!?

I have had a period every month since I had my baby 3 months ago. I also thought it would be awhile before I would get a period.

Yep some women still get their period even when exclusively breastfeeding! It happened with my first and since I’m taking the mini pill I also get break through bleeding...ugh! It may also come and go as well.
