Let me start by saying, I know asking you not to judge me doesn’t mean you won’t. But honestly, you can’t make me feel any worse than i already do so I’d appreciate it if you’d not tell me how horrible I am.

I live in NY, I’m about 32 weeks, and my question is: can I be drug tested without my knowledge/consent? Until about a week ago I occasionally used an oil pen to deal with the extreme nausea, fatigue, and anxiety I’ve been experiencing. I have since stopped entirely. I was looking at the notes from my last prenatal visit and noticed there was a urine toxicology screening ordered. Does ‘toxicology’ automatically mean they are looking for drug use? If this does detect THC I plan to be completely honest with my providers. But I’m wondering if this will cause CPS to become involved at this stage.
