Baby forgotten how to feed from the bottle
My baby is 3 months and is exclusively breastfeeding from my breast.
When she was first born i fed her breast milk from a bottle as my nipples became so sensitive and sore. I spent a lot of my time pumping and sterilizing bottles! So I persisted on practicing feeding her from the breast and now we are as good as good.
Only problem is a few weeks ago, my husband and I needed to go out and I had my MIL look after her and I left s bottle of breast milk in a bottle for her and she just seemed to not know how to suck on that anymore! She would just wiggle it around in her mouth. I tried several attempts since to try and get her used to it again as well but she really won't take it.
Now I'm worried if we ever need to step out and have my MIL or anyone look after her she won't know how to eat from the bottle. Let alone hen I'm back at work.
Did anyone else go through this?
