Sneak peek wrong?

Anyone have a wrong sneak peek girl result? I took it at 8/9 weeks and my dr is kind of doubting it I’ll know next Wednesday but I just don’t see how a girl result could be wrong? It doesn’t matter to me either way

Mine said girl & I swear to god I hope it was wrong :( we want a boy so bad. But from what I’ve researched the girl verdict isn’t usually wrong.

That early there may not have been enough Y present to get a boy result. With Sneak Peeks I think it’s more of a sure thing if you get a boy result.

I've heard of boy results being wrong. I was always told and always read 9 weeks is the earliest for those tests. But if it's wrong, you can send in proof after baby is born and you will get a refund.

I’m curious why your dr was doubting the sneak peak result? At first my dr kind of rolled his eyes because he thought I meant it was an ultrasound at 9 weeks to determine gender, which my result was girl as well. But once I explained it was the blood test he was admitted it was very accurate. 
I know if you do it before 8 weeks there may not be enough of baby’s dna to test for, so it will say female based on your dna. Or if you do not follow directions at any point you can taint the results with male dna from an outside source.
As long as you did your test past 8 weeks, I’d say you’re having a baby girl mama! 💖

False boy results are more common than false girl results because of contamination from male dna. They do happen but usually only when you do the test to early. If it was wrong just send in a copy of the birth certificate and they'll refund you
