baby to the beach ?

Question

has anyone take their baby to the beach yet?? my baby is 11 weeks and i’m thinking about taking him next week so at 12 weeks? 
is that too early?
also curious on how the beach with other moms? and any suggestions of what i should buy or do to help with his experience 
or would the pool be a better alternative?

Baby is just back from holiday, including first flights, and we had him at the beach. Keep him covered and out of the sun and renember the sand on a breeze gets everywhere including baby eyes, as he wont yet know he should close them. The sea is not ideal, as a large wave can take you out by surprise and is too dangerous for a little one. A pool is great for your first swim. We put a mini wetsuit on bubs and after he got over the initial shock, really loved being in.

We’ve taken ours tons of times! First time was around 4 weeks. He hasn’t been in the ocean yet but will take his first dip soon (we want dad to be there or we would have done it already). He loves the waves. 
Be sure to keep them super covered. Bring an umbrella and a lightweight swaddle for nursing and if the breeze is cool. Other than that, they’re so little they only really need a blanket or towel to lay on and bring water and snacks for yourself and enjoy!!

I took mine at 4 weeks! He loved the sound of the ocean and breeze. Just keep them in the shade and it will be fine.
