C section???

Just curious if there’s any mamas out there that have chosen to have a c section?

I've had 2 vaginal births and 2 c sections and would never choose a c section. I'm not sure of your reason for wanting one, but the recovery was a lot harder and more painful than I anticipated.

I had a c section (: wasn’t exactly a choice I made during the beginning of my pregnancy, but once my water broke and I only dilated to a 3 after 30 hours, the doctor said I could continue to wait, or do the c section. I chose the C Section 😁 Procedure was 5 minutes long till the baby was out, then 45 minutes to be sown back up. The main thing is to remember while you have ur c section, the baby WILL meet your family before you get to spend time with him/her. They set him on my chest for about 3 minutes, then moved him out of the room. I didn’t know where he went, and I didn’t want to ask during such a serious surgery. Once I got back to the room, everyone had already passed him around a few time & I was the last one to actually hold my own baby. Otherwise, my son was born amazing & healthy😁

Most times you cant just choose to have one. there has to be a medical reason for them. I had an emergency csection with my first so now with my second I had the option to vbac or csection and they gave me the pros and cons to outweigh and likelyhood of success with vbac and helped me reach a decision
