My doctors office prescribed me unisom for my insomnia and when I went to the pharmacy they said this is what they had since it’s just over the counter. Is this the same thing and safe??

If you see the little yellow bubble on the top right that says "compare to unisom", that'll help you determine that it's just the cheaper, off-brand that works exactly the same. I rarely if ever buy name-brand OTC medications, I always go for the off-brands. They're cheaper and work just as well!

Unisom is doxylamine succinate so I'd assume thats fine to take since its just a generic version but same dosage and everything.

Yes it’s the same! Just generic so it’s probably half the cost of brand name unisom
