Do you guys recommend Amber Teething Necklaces??

There is absolutely no scientific mechanism for them to work, except possibly the psychological effects it might have on the parents. Sort of a second hand placebo effect maybe. 
People say there’s a compound released from the amber by the heat of the skin. Except it would take an incredibly high temperature for that to happen. If you search ‘amber teething necklace debunked’ you will easily find out about it. That’s not even touching on the safety hazard.

I personally didn’t think it helped - and then I was super paranoid that my daughter was going to strangle herself to boot. In my opinion it wasn’t worth the anxiety

They might learn to chew on necklaces resulting in them chewing on your non teething necklaces. Children that young can’t differentiate between teething and non teething jewelry

I see so many people use them. I don’t know if they work or not. I’ve never used them. I’ve researched them and whatever oils they have soaks in the baby’s skin and it’s suppose to help. I’m just way too scared to try. I’m a worry wart and always think about the “what if’s”.
