Are heating pads safe to use for back pain during pregnancy?

I’ve had back pain issues for years, a top PMS symptom but also every year or so if I overwork myself it’ll go out for a couple weeks and be painful even to the touch.
I’m just shy of 20 weeks and in a fair amount of pain. Is it safe to use a heating pad like I would have pre pregnancy?

As long as your body can regulate its temperature its safe. So don't cover up with a heavy comforter while using the heating pad for example. Also a chiropractor saved me during my sons pregnancy my sciatica pain was so bad! Maybe look into having some adjustments done?

I’ve done heating pad, prenatal massages, cupping and acupuncture for my back pain, and it’s all totally safe (and recommended) we don’t have to suffer mama! Hope you find what makes you feel better ☺️
