I have this long time high school friend who just had her first baby in April. She said she wanted them close together (like very close) but said she wanted to wait until January to start trying again.

Fast forward to 3 weeks ago when I had a chemical pregnancy. I thought I was handling it okay know there was some greater power in control. However, I just had dinner with her tonight....she told me she’s 10 weeks pregnant. I AM DEVASTATED! Dont get me wrong, I’m so happy for her but I also felt like I got the wind knocked out of me and asked why her? To make matters worse she was not trying AT ALL! This is a 100% oops baby.

Am I a bad persons for wishing it were me and not her and that we had our roles reversed?
